At the 8th edition of the annual M&A Awards Gala, our teams won two distinctive awards.
In the dynamic and demanding world of mergers and acquisitions, it is essential to recognize outstanding achievements that set the standard for excellence. Bringing together more than 300 business professionals, the M&A Awards Gala celebrates the transactions concluded in 2023.
Two awards for Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton
The transaction of the year in the Accounting Firm category was awarded to Martin Deschênes and Martin Belhumeur for their decisive role in the transaction between the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Solotech, a transaction that testifies to their ability to handle complex files with brilliance and insight.
In addition, the distinction in the ESG category was won by Saki Tzanidis and Nicholas Capuano, highlighting their commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in the context of the EMSPEC-Hapam transaction. It is an undeniable honour to have professionals of their caliber within our firm, who embody excellence and integrity through each of the initiatives they undertake.
Saki Tzanidis and Nicholas Capuano were also finalists for the same transaction in the category of Transaction of the Year, Financial Advisory between $25M and $100M.
