ESSOR Program Provides Support for Businesses Development

The ESSOR program provides support to help businesses develop and implement innovative digital transformation and technological projects. This program is overseen by Quebec’s Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation and administered by Investissement Québec.

ESSOR is a four-part program that aims to:

  • Accelerate the completion of investment projects;
  • Boost the productivity of Quebec businesses through a technology transition or the acquisition of new technologies;
  • Reduce the environmental footprint of Quebec companies;
  • Increase the participation of Quebec businesses in global supply chains.

Eligible businesses are offered financial assistance for digital investment projects. This support consists of a non-repayable contribution covering up to 50%* of their expenses related to:

  • Conducting feasibility studies;
  • Performing digital diagnostics and developing digital plans and action plans;
  • Implementing digital transformation action plans and projects.
