He strives to make a difference in his community and has been involved with the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie Saguenay-Le-Fjord for several years as a member of the board of directors.
In 2020, Simon was named the Regroupement des CPA du Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean Recruit of the Year and he received a Volunteer Award from the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec in 2023.
