Kathy Paré is motivated by the wide range of challenges she faces on a daily basis. She has a methodical and analytical approach to her work and ensures that she explores every aspect of a situation so she can propose simple and effective solutions.
Her ability to clearly explain complex accounting concepts is particularly appreciated by municipal sector employees who attend her COMAQ training sessions.
Since 2011, she has been involved in regional activities as an ambassador for the Cégep Beauce-Appalaches (Lac-Mégantic campus) and campaigns for access to post-secondary education. Her leadership skills were particularly evident when she co-chaired a fundraiser in 2023 that generated $235,000 for the CEGEP’s foundation.
