Recognized for his impeccable work ethic and rallying spirit, Bernard Grandmont contributed substantially to the growth and reputation of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, where he has been an assurance partner since 1978. He was Chairman of the firm’s Partnership Board and responsible for business development in the Montréal region. A member of the Ordre des CPA du Québec, he obtained the prestigious title of Fellow in 2015.
He has assisted numerous companies and public and parapublic organizations in acquisitions or restructurings to obtain financing and develop strategic planning. His loyalty and extensive experience have earned him the trust of his collaborators and clients, enabling him to mobilize them towards achieving ambitious objectives.
Although he prefers to work behind the scenes with his clients, his great talent as a communicator has led him to appear in the media on several occasions. He is very involved in the cultural community and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Cinema and Television for four years. He is also President of the Board of Directors of the Théâtre de la Ville since 2011.
Over the years, he has sat on the Board of Directors of several NFPOs, and has participated in fundraising and benefit activities for organizations such as the Canadian Red Cross and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
He recently served on the Board of Nobel REIT, a property management company, and was Treasurer of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Industry for several years.
