Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is pleased to have advised Orthogone Technologies Inc. in securing Desjardins Capital as a long-term strategic equity investor.
Founded in 2007, Montreal-based Orthogone Technologies Inc. (“Orthogone”) provides specialized R&D services, focusing on embedded software, hardware, software development, System on a Chip (“SoC”) and licensable intellectual property (including Field-Programmable Gate Array (“FPGA”)), to a diversified client base across multiple industries. Known for its ability to tackle highly complex embedded systems engineering and software development applications, Orthogone’s multi-disciplinary team of over 70 engineers is a key extension of its many blue-chip clients and partners, including Analogic, Flir Systems, Xilinx, and Intel.
Desjardins Capital (“DC”) will allow the company to further accelerate its growth trajectory, with a notable focus on hiring talent and expanding Orthogone’s footprint in North America.
